turquoise on my mind

Trying to find the perfect fall color palette and I keep running into this beautiful turquoise color. Perhaps it's a sign from the fall gods that they want this lovely shade of teal...

San Diego Fashion Fest 2010

If you live in the San Diego area, tomorrow night kendall k. will be participating in fashion show (with 12 other designers in the so. cal area) to benefit Breast awareness and raise money to feed the homeless for Thanksgiving. Would love to see you there...

Room to Read- Global Runway for Literacy Event

I was recently asked to participate in a charity event hosted by FIDM. The charity, "Room to Read" focuses on global awareness for literacy and gender equality in education. They have asked a number of local designers, boutiques and artists to create a t-shirt that will be auctioned off. All proceeds will go to "Room to Read"!! I'm so excited to be a part of this great cause.
Here is my submission. I made it from a book that had already lost quite a few pages ...we'll see how it goes :)

riding high

May just be the rainy weather (which I LOVE) but I cannot wait to get my hands on a pair of over the knee socks. PLUS, more convenient than tights while using the restroom :)
what do you guys think... will you be purchasing a pair this season?

fashion show video

The fashion show was a great success! Things were organized, no one fell and everyone looked great! Wow, what a great experience. Plus, I met a lot of really cool people in the process.
