Last night was a great success! Here are a few behind the scene shots of the Fall 2011 photo shoot. A big thanks to my beautiful model, Emily Wells, the very talented photographer, Leo Malevanchik and of course my right arm/bestie/sister-n-law Amanda. What a team we make :)

old Hollywood glamour

The March issue of Vanity Fair really got my attention. Look how gorgeous Anne looks draped in silver satin with red lips. hmm ...not to mention the...er...um dapper young things surrounding her. Perfect homage to old Hollywood glamor. In my opinion, it's exactly how Oscar contenders should be portrayed.

fall photo shoot

Since the kendall k. fall 2011 collection was inspired by the 20's era, what better inspiration to use than the great Lillian Bassman for the upcoming photo shoot next Thursday! I love how she accentuates the length of the neck in these photos. Aren't they perfect?

Spring has arrived...well almost!

So the good news is that the boat has arrived in the Los Angeles port with my Spring shipment aboard! The bad news is that customs has chosen my container as one to inspect. This should delay the delivery about 3-5 days which means I should receive late next week. Apparently it's because I'm a new company. Hey, at least it made it across the Pacific with out any issues. almost here...

exceptionally long trains that would be impossible to walk in and hang perfectly over stair cases... don't you?

I also love that this location would be perfect for the kendall k. fall look book shoot. Anyone have any ideas for locations similar to this "feel" in So Cal?
